Description
ABB ASFC-01C Switch Fuse Controller
🔌 Section 1: Wiring Connections
1. Power Supply Terminal (X5 / X7 / X8)
X5:
- Pin 1 (L): AC 230V Live
- Pin 2 (N): AC 230V Neutral
- Pin 3 (PE): Protective Earth
- Pin 4 (LSOL): Solenoid Coil Control Line L
- Pin 5 (NSOL): Solenoid Coil Control Line N
X7 (Optional):
- 230V AC Input
X8 (Optional):
- 115V AC Input
2. Auxiliary Output (X4)
- Pin 1: +15V DC (Output to external sensors or logic)
- Pin 2: AUX2 (Spare auxiliary output)
- Pins 3 & 4: GND
3. Charging Current Monitoring Inputs (X1/X2/X3)
These inputs monitor inverter DC bus charging current via external current sensors:
- X1: IR1+ / IR1− → Inverter 1
- X2: IR2+ / IR2− → Inverter 2
- X3: IR3+ / IR3− → Inverter 3
4. Control Signals (S1 to S3)
Each group handles one inverter:
- DIS: Disable command (input from PLC)
- EN: Enable command (input from PLC)
- UDC: DC bus voltage detect (optional)
- STAT: Status output (feedback to PLC or HMI)
⚙️ Section 2: Control Logic
- Startup & Power Management
- 230V AC powers the ASFC-01C.
- LSOL/NSOL are used to control external solenoids or contactors.
- Charging current from each inverter is monitored; presence of current implies fuse is intact.
- Enable/Disable Logic
EN = HIGH
,DIS = LOW
→ Inverter enabled.EN = LOW
orDIS = HIGH
→ Inverter disabled.- UDC input helps confirm DC bus voltage availability.
- Monitoring & Protection
- If charging current (IR+) is not detected, fuse may be blown → ASFC disables power.
- STAT signal provides real-time status feedback to PLC for alarms or logic handling.
